Brief introduction of the author

Hu Fuchen was born in Wuqiao, Hebei in 1945. Graduated from the Chemistry Department of Nankai University in 1969, and worked in the local medical and health and chemical industry departments. In 1979, he successively studied and taught at Sun Yat-sen University and Shandong University, and was admitted to the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1984. Doctor of Philosophy; researcher at the Institute of Philosophy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; cooperative supervisor of postdoctoral mobile station; professor and doctoral supervisor of Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; president of the National Laozi Taoism Culture Research Association. In 1993, he began to enjoy special government allowances. Editor-in-chief of “Chinese Daoism Dictionary” and “Taoism General Theory”, author of “Wei and Jin Immortal Taoism–Research on Baopuzi’s Inner Chapter”, “Taoism and Buddhism”, “Taoism Chronicles”, “Taoism and Dandao”, ” Twelve Lectures on the Art of Alchemy and Taoism” (three volumes), “Introduction to Alchemy and Immortal Art”, “Introduction to New Taoism”, etc., translated into “Scientific Discovery Revealed by [Russian] Kedlov.
