Preface

On May 28, 2009, my first Liuyao monograph “Liuyao People’s Gate and Improvement” was published in five major universities including Jilin Social Science Federation, Jilin Tourism Bureau, and Jilin Yixue Research Association. It was publicly issued at the Chinese Zhouyi Cultural Conference jointly organized by the department and a prediction performance was performed on the spot. Using the advanced stage of the original Chuan Yi Xue – Gua Wai Gua to determine 16 cases on the spot, all of them are accurate. It attracted everyone’s attention. While receiving flowers and applause, it also won the favor of a generation of masters, Mr. Liao Moxiang, and was accepted as a disciple. Since the first edition of “Liuyao Renmen and Improvement” was released, the popularity it has received is beyond my expectation. In just 4 months, the sales volume has exceeded 3,000 copies, and every day, I can receive short messages and letters from readers. Some are for learning, some are for guidance with difficult hexagrams and examples. Some are cursing to vent anger, some are purely complimenting me, and some have read it several times and don’t know what they are writing. Every day, these readers and friends of Yi are inspiring and moving me. Here, Xu Xin expresses his heartfelt thanks to all the readers and friends of Yi who care about and pay attention to the development of the original Yi school system. Your concern and encouragement are my progress. Your motivation, your scolding is also a spur to me, thank you. My comprehension is limited, and today’s little achievement is thanks to all the teachers who taught and helped me during my studies. In terms of six lines, in terms of ideological and theoretical heights, Mr. Zhang Daixiang inspired me the most. Therefore, in my system, Mr. Zhang’s thoughts and theories account for 70% of the category. The other 20% is due to my master, Anhui Fengtai, Mr. Gao Huaxin, the master of Neijiaquan, for his guidance. The master is low-key, but his attainments in Neijiaquan and alchemy are extremely high, and he is in the same line of Wudang. Under the guidance of the master, he gradually realized the true meaning of Yi through his own practice. But my personal perception accounts for about 5% at most. The other 5% would like to thank my brothers and Yi friends for their selfless teaching and guidance. For example, the six-yao broken Fengshui section of the original six-yao system was created after referring to the gossip and fengshui of my senior brother, Mr. Gao Shuanyang. The feng shui condition of the yin house, that is, the ancestral tomb, and the response to the situation and people, have been practiced by me and my disciples with an accuracy rate of more than 80%. Therefore, I often say to my students and disciples: I am walking forward on the shoulders of the ancients and my good teachers and friends. I am always grateful and remember them.
